Making that first step is always the most difficult and this can also be the case when implementing any new CAD system.
Immediately following fundamental software training is the best time to start implementing, however due to factors such as workload or not wanting to start out on the wrong foot, this start can get delayed.
Having a Micro Concepts Engineer visit your company to discuss and work through recommended workflows or just help get you started designing your own products has been proven to greatly accelerate the implementation and get maximum advantage from your investment in the software and training.
Kick Start Days
To aid with a successful ‘Kick Off’ of your new system, we offer a Micro Concepts Engineer on site to help you make that important start. Initially for 1 day, though further days can be purchased as required.
The content is at your own discretion but suggested topics would be dealing with the immediate implementation and use applied to your own specific processes and products.
N.B.Recommended to be used within 1 month of attending the Part1 – Essentials training course for maximum effectivity. The Part1 – Essentials Training Course is a pre requisite to the Kick Start Programme.
System Set Up – 2 days
One of the barriers to productivity in implementing any CAD system is not having the procedures in place from day one that allow users to hit the ground running.
Borders, title blocks, templates, styles, standards all these need to be tuned to your company requirements. This can be time consuming and thus costly work for the inexperienced user. To aid with this we can offer a Micro Concepts Engineer on site for 2 days to help create and implement this background infrastructure allowing your users to create designs and data that conform to the company requirements.
